Trans Nzoia - After qualifying for the football finals in the Term Two National Games, St Antony's Boys Kitale received a special phone call from Governor George Natembeya.
St Antony's Boys Kitale from Trans Nzoia county qualified for the finals after trouncing Shanderema Secondary School 1-0 in a mouth-watering match played at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega town.
Following the win, Natembeya called the team players lauding them for making the county proud even as he encouraged them ahead of their final match in the tournament.
St Anthony vs Dagoretti
St Antony's Boys Kitale will face off against Dagoretti, who defeated Agoro Sare on penalty shootouts to qualify for the finals to be played tomorrow, Saturday, August 12.

"Tunataka mabao kwanza ile ya haraka haraka ya mwanzo. Unajua ukishinda timu ambayo inacheza kwao nyumbani hiyo ndio championship. (We need early and fast goals. You know when you defeat the home team that's being a champion,)" Natembeya said.
In a video shared on his official Twitter handle, the county boss went on:
"If you defeat them I will be with you tomorrow. You know when I come there are goodies, right? For every goal, there is a gift. We are together in this," Natembeya further said.

Natembeya's surprise visit in Kwanza
During the visit, Natembeya surprised residents after he helped a street vendor prepare a meal of ugali.
Natembeya shared several photos of himself skilfully preparing the ugali on his official Twitter handle.
"Helping Mama Emily to cook Ugali at Maili Saba Centre, Kwanza constituency. Kibandaski lunch," Natembeya captioned the photos.
During the stopover, he also promoted Mama Emily's business.
"I value the governor's visit to my business. I've never seen a governor interact with ordinary citizens; he's the first. This was not the case during the previous administration. I'm planning to increase my inventory in my business with whatever support he has accorded me," Mama Emily.
