A desperate woman and her children have been forced to seek refuge in an inhabitable place.
Why men leave their families
Jocelyne, abandoned by her husband, has lived in a toilet for six years with her two daughters.
Jocelyne's husband walked out of their lives without a trace one morning and never looked back since deciding.

The family lived well before the unfortunate events, including having a place to sleep and enough food to eat.
"Life has become difficult. I have no choice," the heartbroken mother told Afrimax English.
Staying in abusive relationships
Her husband was an alcoholic and would always return home drunk, not minding the example he set for his children.
He was also abusive as he would not only land blows and kicks to his dear wife but also tend his violence to the little ones.
The family was well known in the neighbourhood for lack of peace, mostly at night, as the man of the house always brought chaos.
One day he woke up early in the morning and went away his way and never returned home since that day.
Family living in streets
Since Jocelyne could not afford to pay rent, she and her kids were kicked out and ended up in the streets.
She sent two of her children to their grandmother and remained with two daughters she lived with in the toilet.
She said she spread a mat to cover the toilet hole and lay with her school-going daughters.
"My children's grades have gone down, and they cannot even invite their friends because they fear being bullied," she noted.
Lavington apartment with three toilets
In a different story, Kenyans hilariously react to Lavington's apartment with three toilets installed in the same room.
An image shared by Rowena Njeri depicted a room with not one, not two, but three toilets installed side by side.
"House hunting in Nairobi will have you traumatised. This is in Lavington, fyi. I have more Lavington shockers, but nobody will want to hunt with me," she said.
Many Kenyans were surprised with the layout, with some adding they had seen worse.
