Kenya - Celebrated Administrative Policeman (AP) Vanpagal Mohamed Ahmed (Moha) has been praised for selflessly aiding a lady who had an urgent meeting abroad to get a passport.

Lady requires passport for Europe meeting

According to the lady who wrote to thank Mohammed, she was supposed to be a part of a delegation of minority communities headed to Europe, but she didn't have a passport.

"We need your passport by close of business tomorrow for Visa processing. I didn't have a passport and the donor didn't give me time to explain myself, he just assumed I was sorted," she revealed on Facebook.

"I got to the gate, and explained my predicament to a Somali guard at; that happened to be you(Moha). You listened and took me to your superiors. You explained my situation to him and left," said the lady.

The officer at the Directorate of Immigration Services asked a lady to handle the matter as the applicant quaked in her boots, scared that they would ask her for KSh 50,000 to fast-track the process.

Moha helps lady state her case

"I was processed with the priority people among them government officials and those leaving for urgent treatment abroad. At around 6pm I was called by the lady to do the signing. My passport was ready," she said.
"How I have received kindness from you Moha, and you did not even know me; you vanished so fast I didn't even get time to thank you. I left, and said a prayer for you ; may God make roads for you in forests and oasis in deserts. May your household never go hungry," she added.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Moha said that sometimes there are problems with machines and materials, but people with urgent cases can always get help.

"I help everybody with dedication, I love my job and if don't help them they may fall victim to cartels, middlemen and rogue agencies," he said.

He had a passion for tours and travels and therefore, after completing high school, he joined Utalii College to pursue Tour Operations.

For many Kenyans who have been at Nyayo House, Moha is not a stranger to them - his kind and welcoming character at the Directorate of Immigration Services earned him the name Moha wa Nyayo House. It is easy to see his training kicks in when he is at work.
