Kenyans on social media have hailed a man who shared photos of the Television stand he made with gutter pipes that remained after finishing up a construction project.
Haron Omwoyo decided to minimise the wastage of materials, and so after the gutter pipes remained, he decided to put them to some good use, and he was happy with the result.
In the photos he shared on my Dream House Facebook group, Omwoyo displayed the new permanent TV stand, which he made using the pipes and perfectly blended with the rest of the house.
"I used the remaining PTG gutter pipes to make a TV stand on a semi-permanent house; no wastage of materials," he wrote in the group.

Building a lovely wall TV stand
Many Kenyans were left in awe of his creativity, with many noting that not only was the wall stand beautiful, but it was also ostensibly cost-effective.
Prince Sebastian said:
"Creativity on another level."
Charles Otieno said:
"If you are happy, we are happy."
Ochieng David said:
"Thinking outside the box."
TUKO.co.ke also reached out to Omwoyo, who revealed he is a builder based in Kisii but travels around the country for projects.
"So, I got the idea to use the gutter pipes for the TV stands because I realised they would have been thrown away. I asked the owner of the house where I was doing the construction if I could make him a TV stand using the remaining pipes and he was open to the idea. Fortunately, he ended up like the result," he told this writer.
The Kisii man said he is also into painting and other art forms.
Cost of building a home in Kenya
In other news, a Kenyan man recently left many in awe after breaking down the estimated cost of building a typical bungalow in Kenya after a debate on Twitter over the same.
This was after a Kenyan man asked what the price of building a typical house in Kenya was, and as many came with varied opinions, one man decided to break it down for aspiring homeowners to understand.
In his estimated quotation for the three-bedroomed house, in a handwritten paper, Denzel explained how the cost would amount to KSh 1.8 million.
