Principal Magistrate Nelly Adalo convicted and sentenced Mangale Yawa for endangering the safety of commuters after vandalizing a Ksh 30,000 SGR line fencing post owned by Kenya Railways Corporation.

In her ruling, Adalo said the prosecution, through senior principal prosecution counsel Angela Fuchaka, proved all the charges against the accused beyond a reasonable doubt.

Yawa was also found guilty of stealing four D10 metal rods, approximately six feet each, and approximately 5kg of metal hooks, all valued at Ksh 30,000 and belonging to Kenya Railways Corporation.

The bone of contention was food; Nyaga accused his wife of failing to produce the meat he had asked her to prepare for the family.

The man left home on December 25, 2022, to make merry.

This was after Nyaga reportedly left Mbuya KSh 2,000 to buy food and other commodities.
