Kisii- Residents of Birongo, Nyaribari Chahe Constituency, have complained about the deteriorating security situation in the area.
The latest security scare has left the locals in fear after two men were found dumped by the roadside.
Confirming the tragic incident, Kisii Central OCPD Amos Ambasa said one of the men's hands and legs were tied while they had injuries to the head.
Ambasa said he received a report from the local chief that they had stumbled upon two bodies of men aged between 25 and 40 years.

He said from their preliminary investigations, the two seemed to have been killed elsewhere before the bodies were dumped at the area, a border between Nyamira and Kisii counties.
The police chief said their work had been made easier by locating the two men's kin, adding that they would help unravel their movements leading up to the murder.
"It was this morning when we received a report from the chief of Birongo location that there are bodies of two young men, aged 25, and one aged 40. What happened is not known yet, but since we have visited the scene, we have found that their bodies have similar injuries. It appears that sharp objects and other blunt objects were used.
We have found that all of them are residents of Nyamira County, and it seems that this incident happened elsewhere since this is the border area. Perhaps it occurred in Nyamira, and the criminals brought them here. We have started the investigation since it will be easier for us to inquire with their families who can help us trace their movements from yesterday,"he said.
Parents to discipline children
A witness at the scene said they were also surprised by the morning events, speculating that criminals might have killed them.
The elderly man urged parents to report their children once they notice behaviours likely to lead to being criminals.
"If you know your child is behaving badly, report it. It doesn't mean they will be killed. They will be corrected.," he said.
Man kills mother over food
In a separate incident reported from Kisii, a family hailing from Bomeroka village in Kitutu Chache was left devasted following the death of their elderly matriarch killed by her son.
The 34-year-old, a drug addict, was reportedly frustrated after learning the amount of food set aside for him was not satisfactory.
According to a female farmhand in the home, the suspect wanted to munch all the food for lunch that had been prepared for the whole family.
