"My team is optimistic that the process will produce a top delegate who will carry Kenya's flag high at the world event," Jalango said.
Adding:
"While the tradition of selecting the national delegate is strictly followed, Miss Earth Kenya as part of Miss Earth International, brings more value to beauty pageants by bringing to light the conscious effort of Environmental and Cultural Sustainability."
Models were taken through different training sessions at the boot camp.
Kenyan model crowned Miss Global
In February, Miss World Kenya finalist Joy Mutheu was crowned as Miss Global Kenya.
The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Statistics) graduate succeeded Eleanor Musangi in the international pageant.
The 23-year-old model represented the country in the prestigious Miss Global competition in Vietnam.
She noted that participating in the prestigious competition needed monetary support from the Kenyans and corporates.
"International pageants incur huge expenses therefore, I would also like to call upon sponsors to help facilitate various areas of the pageant," she said in an interview with TUKO.co.ke.
Eleanor Musangi at Miss Global Pageant in Indonesia
In 2022, Kenyan model Eleanor Musangi flew out of the country to take part in the Miss Global Pageant in Indonesia.
"Believe in the beauty of your dreams because dreams do come true. To my motherland, Kenya, I'm so proud as your daughter to be flying your flag with honour. Whatever May come am going to represent you well, and your name will be spoken afar by many and in different languages," Musangi wrote on Instagram.
The catwalk queen shared the news with her fans as she jetted out of the country from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
