Notably, the act of generosity extended beyond Val, with the screenshots showcasing separate payments made by the church to various individuals.

Moreover, this act of benevolence was not the church's first involvement in community-oriented initiatives.

Earlier, Muthee's church acquired a posho mill intended to provide free maize milling services to the local community.

"We will be milling flour for free to any member of the community who has maize while we pack our own flour in our free food to the Needy initiative," he wrote.

He expressed his gratitude to Mr Njehia of Nakuru Tiger Machinery for his contribution to the project.

Muthee asks church members to buy membership

Earlier, the preacher who doubles as a radio presenter at Kameme FM puzzled many with the requirements Kenyans would need to be members of his church.

Kiengei set up the JCM church Kiengei in February after serving in the Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa from around 2020 when he was ordained as a pastor.

He faced questions on whether he moved to make more money, but he denied it.

“I want to be a bishop not to benefit myself but to serve a larger service area. I have never eaten tithe for the past two years. We use eight cars daily, and the one with less fuel spends KSh 3,000.
