In a shocking turn of events, a woman, identified as Anne Shiro, is desperately searching for her househelp, Masawe Sharon, who vanished with KSh 100,000 intended for her dowry payment.
The incident has left Anne devastated and puzzled as her attempts to contact Sharon have been thwarted by the househelp's disappearance and switched-off phone.
Anne Shiro, a resident of Nairobi, shared her distressing ordeal, revealing that she had hired Sharon, a Ugandan lady, from a bureau located in Kikuyu, Kiambu county.
The bureau had confirmed that Sharon was living with her grandmother in the area.

The arrangement seemed promising at first, as Sharon efficiently cared for Anne's child during her two-month stay with the family.
However, the situation took a sinister turn on the July 17, when Anne discovered her bedroom keys missing.
Astonishingly, it turned out that Sharon was in possession of the keys, which she had used to access Anne's bedroom while it was locked.
The incident raised suspicion, but Anne decided to wait for concrete evidence before taking any action while using her husband's room
On the following Saturday, the family had a gathering at Anne's brother's place, and they returned home around 12 midnight
To their utter dismay, they found Sharon had broken into Anne's bedroom and made off with KSh 100,000 in cash, which Anne had set aside for her dowry payments.
Additionally, several items of clothing were also missing, leaving Anne in a state of shock and disbelief.
"I had saved that money to purchase the necessary items for my dowry payments, which are scheduled for August 5," Anne lamented, expressing her devastation over the loss.
Adding to Anne's distress, Sharon has since switched off her phone, making it increasingly difficult to trace her whereabouts.
Anne and her family have filed a report with the local authorities and are seeking assistance from the public to help locate the absconding househelp.
