"It was one of the most painful days in my life. My boyfriend denied the pregnancy and left me in a challenging position. Taking care of my baby by myself has been a tough journey since I was young, and my family is struggling to make ends meet.
My boyfriend and I no longer talk. Ever since he dumped me, I do not know where or what he is doing. He has never supported me or the baby. All I have is my family," she heartbreakingly said.

The young lady said she had tried to look for menial jobs to care for the family, but her efforts bore no fruit.

Her mother offered laundry services, but her pay was insufficient to cater to the house's needs in the tough economy.

"All we request is for an employment opportunity to fend for ourselves. For instance, my kid needs a balanced diet, diapers, etc. But our situation makes it difficult to provide all the necessities," the young lady who lives in Kawangware, Kabiria, Nairobi county, said.
