"When you bathe with this and you don't have money it immediately starts coming. Im telling you that I'm blessed. This vehicle is KSh 15 million, and I have many of them. There is a lady who worked as domestic help I gave this water she bathed with it. He quit her job and bought her car. She will give us testimony," he said.
Kanyari of the "310 mbegu" fame is synonymous with antics that he says are divine; he recently put up a water pool in his church to heal the faithful there.
He recently installed taps and a water pool inside his church.
In another undated video that left social media users baffled, the clergyman disclosed that the well would be named Bethsaida.
Well draws inspiration from Bible
The large water pool is christened after the biblical site associated with miracles performed by Jesus.
Known for his unconventional practices, Kanyari was seen advising one of his followers to drink and bathe with the water.
According to him, the water possesses miraculous healing properties capable of solving all their problems.
"Nawa kabisa, ukitaka hata oga ndani, don't fear. Kunywa ingine. Si unaskia nikisema ni kisima cha miujiza? Sasa shida zako zimeisha (Wash your hands, you can even take a shower in the well if you so wish. Drink some of it as well. Now your problems are gone)," he said to a young woman.
The well is safe, Kanyari
News of the "healing well" sparked a wave of controversy among the social media community, with critics arguing that Kanyari is potentially putting his followers' health at risk.
Kanyari, who gained notoriety after being exposed for allegedly proclaiming fake miracles and deceptive fundraising tactics, remained adamant that the well was safe.
According to him, the water is procured from a reputable source, and he prayed over the well to give it divine healing powers.
Many of his faithful were seen milling around the "holy well," most probably waiting for their moment to immerse themselves in the water with hopes of finding relief.
The cleric came to the limelight close to a decade ago when he was exposed for coaching his crew on whom he performed fake miracles.
That was for optics, so as to attract potential congregants who give money in exchange for miracles.
His offering was capped at KSh 310 which he asked those interested to send via mobile money platforms.
