Bondo - Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party leader Raila Odinga has disclosed plans to change how they express displeasure with President William Ruto's administration.

The former premier observed that staying indoors was also a form of protest that would show the displeasure of most Kenyans.

"Ultimately, it will be our responsibility to liberate our country. Kenya can and must be liberated. We must tell them also that we will not be cowed by this act. We don't even have to bring people into the streets. We can tell people to stay home. That's also another way of expressing displeasure and dissatisfaction.

What are Raila's plans for next protests

The ODM explained that he would ask his supporters to stay home next time and see the government's response.

Raila said he would ask his supporters to stop anybody trying to leave their house during the protests.

"Next time we'll not tell the people to come to the streets, we'll tell the people to stay in their homes. Stay in your and see what they're going to do. We'll tell you don't come out, stop anybody who's trying to come out and stay at home. My people, there are many ways of killing a cat when it becomes wild and starts killing your chicken. This cat we'll kill," he added.

Azimio hired bodies from morgues, Koome

On Tuesday, August 8, at Kiganjo Police Training College, the Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome claimed they had intelligence on political leaders compromising morgue attendants.

He alleged that the leaders hired bodied from morgues and posted them on social media claiming they were victims of police brutality.

"The information I have is that they go to mortuaries, compromise the workers, their. They take the bodies of people who died of some illness, maybe an accident. They take photographs of such bodies and blame them on the police," he said.
