Nairobi - It has been one month since the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party held their three-day protests in Kenya's capital and its environs.

In the three-day demos, uncountable cases of police brutality were reported in Nairobi and other parts of the country.

According to human rights and interest groups reports, more than ten people were killed during the anti-government demos.

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party leader Raila Odinga has vowed to ensure justice is served to families that lost their loved ones in the opposition demonstrations.

Raila Odinga mourns in Luanda

Raila was speaking in Luanda during the burial of two brothers who were brutally injured by police officers during the demos. The duo died while receiving treatment at a hospital in the region.

The ODM leader mourned with the family, consoling them that justice would prevail.

"We stand united with Luanda, grieving the loss of innocent Kenyans to police brutality: Benjamin Imbi Miya and two brothers, Brian Oniang'o and William Amulele. We'll continue to pursue justice for them as we work to remove the shadows of injustice that linger over our land," Raila said.

The former premier likened the killing of Kenyans during demos to an organised massacre targeted at maiming Kenyans just like Hitler's regime.

"Today we came to say pole to our people who lost loved ones in the hands of police who used untold brutality. Such profiled deaths remind us of Hitler's pogrom against the Jews," he said.

He told mourners that they were resolute in their quest for justice for the victims.

Raila Odinga to hold fund drive for victims

The opposition supporters will shoulder the expenses of supporting the casualties of police brutality during the recent anti-government protests.

The faction's leader, Raila Odinga, told the international media on Tuesday that a drive would be undertaken to raise monies to help settle expenses for those injured and the bereaved.

A handful of people have died, and several others injured in the demonstrations that the opposition has been calling since March this year to protest the government's delay in addressing the cost of living.
