Lemaletian indicated that she dedicates the award to every patriotic Kenyan youth and every Pan-African hearted and minded African youth.
She faulted what Africans term as emancipation given that more than half of the population is comprised of consumers yet the continent is full of potential.
"We cast a stone in the ocean and create ripples of change across the ocean. We do not talk of emancipation when half the society is held in silence ," she said.
Beauty with brains
Lemaletian has often hit out at the stereotype that beautiful women cannot be smart, maintaining that there exist many gorgeous women who are also blessed with brains.
"Stop the stereotypes that beautiful women are only meant for misuse. We also do reason and can think. We shall deconstruct those stereotypes," she once said in a tweet.
Lemaletian, a University of Nairobi graduate, is the Reigning Miss Commonwealth Kenya and made history by becoming the first woman from the North to win the national crown.
Before plunging into the political scene, the Global peace ambassador used her position to champion the rights of her Samburu society.
Fulfilling her promise to the public
In 2022, Lemaletian went on social media to express gratitude to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga for nominating her to the Senate.
The young charming politician noted that she was thankful to the former prime minister for keeping his promise.
After being sworn in as nominated Senator on Thursday, September 13, she promised to deliver and serve the citizens to the best of her abilities.
