Qualities of a good wife
Shine, 27, unapologetically shared his firm decision to marry his 60-year-old lover, mother of six.
"Love does not choose and does not discriminate. I chose her because she is sweet, kind and caring. City girls would disturb me again," he disclosed.
Shine's lover also praised him, adding she loved him for who he was and not necessarily what he had, despite her having much more.
Asking man out for dinner
The young man admitted that it was the elderly woman who asked him out for dinner after knowing him for a while.
"She called me one day and said she wanted to take me out for dinner. Of course, I was surprised, but I agreed. That was when I opened up to her and told her I loved her," Shine said with a laugh.
He waited for two weeks before the granny responded and told him she loved him too and would want them to be together.
Their families were unconvinced because of the age differences but were firm on their decision, leaving their loved ones with no choice.
No bewitchment
The woman refuted bewitchment accusations in her relationship with her 27-year-old boyfriend.
Yusta firmly denied seeking the help of witch doctors or pastors to attract the love of her life, as alleged by critics.
Despite scrutiny and scepticism, the Tanzanian couple has remained committed to their relationship and insisted they were prepared to take their vows.
