The content creator advised netizens to own up to their mistakes and face them head-on.
He said:
"So take home ya leo is that when you get into trouble own up to it. Just say that such things happen.
I called Phil, and I told him he did not have a car. This is a bad omen consuming petrol for no reason. You see, he listened to me, and I heard he is looking for a car. Just own up. So imagine I would have gone to a mechanic, and he gave me a bad paint job?”

Njugush and Abel took to their Instagram accounts to release a statement mimicking Phil and his ex-wife's.
One of the statements read:
"Joint statement Mkuru & Director Phil. Nairobi, September 20, 2023. We have come to the conclusion that going our separate ways is best for both of us. This is due to our vehicular differences. Associating with a BMW owner has taken a toll on me, and we wish that you please respect our decision. Signed, Mkuru and Phil."
