The Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) has appointed Wilson Tunoi as the new acting CEO.
The temporary appointment to the top position comes following the retirement of immediate-outgoing CEO Mohammed Bulle.
ADC's Board of Management unanimously settled on Tunoi to take over from Bulle in an acting capacity as it hunts for a new managing director.

The board chairman, Abdillahi Alawy, announced on Thursday, December 21, confirming the unanimous decision.
Who is Wilson Tunoi?
TUKO.co.ke understands that Tunoi was the technical manager of operations at ADC at the time of the new appointment.
Tunoi, a veterinary medicine graduate from the University of Nairobi, holds a master's degree in business management (strategic management specialisation) from St. Paul's University.

He has served in ADC for over three decades, and the board believes he has all it takes to steer the organisation forward as a substantive managing director is being sought.
Tunoi has previously served as regional manager of ADC in Kitale, the nerve of the government's corporation.
While taking up the new assignment, Tunoi, who was lauded for progressive leadership in his previous position, said he was determined to steer the organisation forward and help it achieve its objectives.
"I'll seamlessly work with the board to ensure a smooth continuation of ADC operations," Tunoi stated.

He also assured the staff at ADC that his commitment to teamwork was unwavering and that they would improve the quality of service delivery.
In September 2023, ADC put out an advertisement for the position of substantive CEO, and three names have so far been shortlisted and are at the Ministry of Agriculture ahead of an appointment.
ADC is known for its essential contribution to livestock breeding on its farm in Kitale, besides other agricultural developments.
