The video footage reveals a chaotic scene, with the two verbally abusing medical staff and threatening to involve a senior government official.
The woman joined the man and scattered the items on one of the nurses' desks, tossing them to the floor.
She then threatened to call an "Ababu," a move believed to have been aimed at showing her proximity to Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba.
“Harakisha ukuje hapa saa hii, we have an emergency here!” the man shouted to someone on the other end of the call.
They two aptly exited the room after noticing they were being recorded by someone else in the adjacent room.
Ababu disowns duo
However, Namwamba swiftly distanced himself from the incident, stating that he neither knows nor is related to the disruptive group.
"These individuals claiming to be my villagemates have no association with me. I have no knowledge of them, and they are not related to me in any way," he told TUKO.co.ke.
Namwamba clarified that although the individuals hail from Budalangi, his ancestral home, they are not part of his family.
He urged the authorities to take appropriate action to address the disruption caused by the unruly duo.
KMPDU calls for action against culprits
In the wake of the incident, the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) has called for the arrest of two individuals.
KMPDU Secretary General Dr Davji Atellah condemned the incident and prevailed upon authorities to institute justice against the culprits.
“This is rudimentary, illegal, and immoral. The attitude and action by politicians and their cronies to threaten healthcare workers at their place of work should be curtailed,” he stated.
Man threatens passengers on plane
Meanwhile, a 53-year-old man was travelling with his wife to Bangkok when they disagreed over an unknown reason.
He became unruly, undressed and tried to set a blanket on fire, saying he would kill everyone on the plane.
The plane was forced to land in New Delhi, where the man was immediately arrested, and the rest of the passengers were allowed to continue with their journey.
