Lawyer Miguna Miguna has expressed disappointment in President William Ruto's administration.

Speaking to Look Up TV on the evening of Tuesday, December 27, Miguna said that, in a way, he feels betrayed by the president because he has not done what he promised him.

"I feel betrayed that after five years of persecution, this government doesn't seem to know that justice delayed is justice denied. I have been denied justice for so long," Miguna said.

Why Miguna Miguna feels disappointed by William Ruto

According to Miguna, what happened to him was so bad that it has never happened to anyone else since Kenya gained its independence.

"I am disappointed. I am extremely upset that William Ruto and his government will continue to do what Uhuru Kenyatta used to do," he added.

Miguna also claimed that the police work was independent of the head of state.

"Ruto appointed Japhet Koome, he appointed the DCI, and he appointed the DPP. They were all appointed without a competitive hiring process. I say that without fear of contradiction because these are not the best candidates in our country for anything," Miguna further said.

The revered lawyer claimed that most of Ruto's appointees were corrupt.

"Most of them grew up and rose in the system, which is very corrupt, and they were not picked because they are the most qualified Kenyans and have the highest levels of integrity," said Miguna.

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke claimed that Ruto would not be re-elected in the 2027 elections.

Why Miguna feels Ruto won't be re-elected

In a statement on Wednesday, December 20, Miguna said that come 2027, many Kenyans might not remember Ruto's eloquence or numerous foreign trips.

According to the outspoken lawyer, Kenya's voting pattern will be influenced by poverty, unemployment, and the high rate of corruption in the Kenya Kwanza government.

Miguna warned the Kenya Kwanza leader to change his leadership style before the next poll.

"I can assure you that in 2027 and beyond, Kenyans will not remember, recognise, or be impressed by President William Ruto’s eloquence, frequent foreign trips, or Kaunda suits. They will remember only their hunger, poverty, unemployment, and the cascading astronomical scale of corruption. Don't ever say I didn't warn you," Miguna said.

Miguna's projection came despite him saying recently that he will still vote for the Kenya Kwanza government in the 2027 polls.

On December 7, the controversial lawyer cautioned Kenyans against questioning his choice of voting for Ruto instead of the opposition leader, Raila Odinga, whom he swore in as people's president after the 2017 elections.
