She said Mwash had come to the bar where she worked and ordered drinks.
However, Mwash sneaked out of the bar without paying, leaving her with a bill of KSh 10,000.
She said the amount was equivalent to her daughter’s school fees for a whole term.
She said that her boss fired her.
"If your name is Mwash; you came to my workplace, I served you, and you escaped with a KSh 10,000 bill, and I am now crying. You have made me lose my job. The KSh 10,000 bill is enough to pay my child's whole term's school fees. I am now stranded because you escaped without settling the bill. I swear before God, you will pay it. You will have to pay it," she lamented.
Man charged with failing to clear KSh 6k bill
Separately, a Nairobi man was presented before the Kibera Law Courts where he faced charges related to obtaining credit by false pretence.
Identified as Evans Owino, the man failed to offset a bill at a city joint totalling KSh 6,710 with which he had entertained a random woman he had met at the pub.
Owino attracted the woman on his table where he was partaking in a bottle of beer and Krest soda.
After she joined him, the man started making impulsive orders despite knowing that he was not in a position to clear the bill.
He ordered more drinks and grilled meat for himself and the woman.
