Dan was paralysed while building a house
An Instagram post shared by The Wheelchair Dad revealed that Dan was paralysed while building 10 years ago, but he is still an incredible builder.
"We designed this built-in bunkbed/playhouse about a year ago, and it has been an absolute labour of love this year! We are pressing to get it finished as soon as possible because these babies have been sleeping with their mattresses on our living room floor and we don’t have a place for our Christmas tree,' said The Wheel Chair dad.

Dan works tirelessly amid craziness
"Dan has been working tirelessly in between all of the other craziness he’s dealing with, and it was finished enough to put their mattresses in temporarily (until we pull them back out to paint this week)!," he added.
According to the content creator, the daughters were so excited after seeing the bed, as it was not only a dream bedroom but also the priceless lessons he was teaching them along the way!
"As they were going to sleep last night, they both said “Thank you daddy and mummy for our bedroom!" said the Wheelchair dad.
