The Pacesetters Award (PSA) is an annual industry leadership recognition program organised by Jubilant Stewards of Africa.
TUKO.co.ke took home the coveted Pacesetter Entertainment News Award at the continental awards ceremony held in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on 15th December 2023.
The continental award brought together top organisations and entrepreneurs from at least 30 African countries and others from select countries outside the continent like US, Asia and Europe.
These awards are based on the economic and social impact rather than the balance sheet.

The awards aim to promote best practices and ethical standards in industry leadership, evaluating nominees against globally accepted standards through the Performance Index (OPI).

Pacesetters Awards considers a range of quantitative and qualitative aspects to determine and honor the winners. A novel survey model was initiated in 2020 as per the hyperinflationary environment. The model has since been tested and it demonstrated its functionality, elasticity, and robustness.
The award winners in the Pacesetters Awards Continental Chapter 2023 included; TUKO.co.ke, Momzy Network, Digit Vehicle Tracking Limited Uganda, Westlands Laser Eye Hospital, Tanzania’s Inter-Consult Limited Tanzania, Trinity Express Bus Rwanda.
Just a week before this new accolade, TUKO.co.ke emerged as the Top Digitally Fit News Agency and Service of 2023, securing the title at the Digitally Fit Company of the Year awards.
TUKO.co.ke's success in 2023 extends beyond this recent accolade. The digital media newsroom has joined the WAN-IFRA WIN Advisory Program, a move that reflects its commitment to staying abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices.
Additionally, TUKO.co.ke has become a member of the International News Media Association (INMA), further solidifying its position as a top player in the global media landscape.
