The Bomet groom and his fiancee, Nelly Chepkoech, trended for days. The ex-lovebirds shared different accounts of what transpired with Amos accusing Nelly of cancelling their wedding.
He said he did not want to marry her any more, wishing her well in her next relationship.

Amos was gifted a fully paid trip to Mombasa by Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu to soothe his broken heart.
In a video Kabu shared on social media, the kindhearted entrepreneur disclosed that he had a lengthy talk with Amos, where he opened up about his heartbreak.
The CEO also took issue with social media users commenting on the ongoing saga, urging them to be sensitive.
"Before you post, it is important to get the details and be sure that you can verify the information," he advised.
Amos Rono's special prayer
The tall, dark, handsome man enjoyed his vacation in Mombasa, and before flying back to Nairobi, he recorded himself praying. The Bomet man claimed he had healed from the heartbreak, quoting Psalms 125:1.
"Let me have journey mercies back home. I love you and adore you, Lord. Thank you, Lord, because you have enabled me to come to this place. Whatever I have done, seen that is not worthy before you, forgive me, Lord. Thank you for being with me, and I am relieved from the tragedy I got. I pray, believing and trusting in you," Amen.

Amos Rono says he's ready to love again
Recently, while conversing with Kabu, Amos revealed he still believes in love despite his wedding being cancelled.
The soft-spoken man said he would take a few months before trying his luck in love again.
"I have come back to my senses. Three to four months from now, I will be back in the market to search for my rib, that God has made for me," he said.
Ungovernable Kenyan women took to social media to express their keen interest in Amos, begging him to marry them.
