According to Forbes, the richest man in the world, with a net worth of $241.3 billion (KSh 34.8 trillion), intends to reduce clickbait headlines on X.
News 18 reported Musk wants to remove headlines and texts on the news shared on X. This would leave the lead image and uniform resource relocated (URL) web link.
How Elon Musk pays content creators
Musk has begun paying eligible content creators who paid subscription fees a share of their advertising revenue.
The users who received income were those subscribed to X premium, with at least 500 followers and five million impressions in three months.
"Ads Revenue Sharing is now live for eligible creators globally. Set up payouts from within Monetisation to get paid for posting. We want X to be the best place on the internet to earn a living as a creator, and this is our first step in rewarding you for your efforts," X stated.
Man earns KSh 1m from X
On Friday, August 11, an X user shared a screenshot of ad revenue he got from Elon Musk's content creator pay programme.
He showed his earnings at $12,634.24 (KSh 1.8 million).
This followed a move by Elon Musk to fund Twitter content creators who receive ads on their timelines.
The tech entrepreneur revealed that the first group of creators will receive approximately $5 million (KSh 722 million).
