Homa Bay - Master Denzel Omondi Odiwuor has only a few days to live...well, unless something is done about the mouth cancer that has tormented him and shut his mouth.
Omondi's mouth starts swelling
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, his uncle, John Owino, said that it all started with a tooth removal typical for kids around his age.
"After the tooth was removed, he started feeling a lot of pain in the mouth and shortly afterwards, it started swelling. Within a few days, the whole mouth was swollen," said Owino.

"The right jaw closed up completely; his tongue can't move as well. He cant eat or drink anything, and his mouth is discharging a lot of puss," he revealed.
Omondi was rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referal Hospital for treatment, but after observation, they were told it was turning into mouth cancer.
Omondi needs KSh 300,000 for treatment
They were referred to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret; to start treatment for the condition, they need KSh 300,000.
"The breathing pipes in the nose and gut have been blocked; the tumour is pressing the nose and one nostril is completely blocked by the tumour. If it continues to grow it will block his gut and other nostril; the boy will be no more," Owino said of the Nyandolo Primary School pupil.
Omondi's parents are jobless and can't afford the KSh 300,000 require for treatment. According to Owino, they were given a few days to get the money or the cancer will move rapidly and kill the boy.
"Let us save his life; I have been paying the bills, but this is too much for me. Pray for this lad; support him as he is supposed to be taken to Eldoret without failure. You can reach his parents on 0702975639," he said.
