Atommy visits Ida Odinga's office
Ida called the talented musician to her office and gifted him a complete drum set.
She described him as a renowned artiste who has been in the limelight for a long time.
"We are very familiar with his work (songs). Recently, he lost his equipment. I have decided to buy some drum sets for him. I hope from here, he will start and go on with his music career," Ida said.
How did Atommy react to Ida's gesture?
On his side, Atommy couldn't hide his excitement as he received the drum set.
The Achieng Painkiller crooner thanked Idah and asked God to bless her.
"Thank you Mum and may God bless you because you are one in a million. I have been crying and now God has answered my prayers. Mum has brought me a nice drum set. I need to go back to the stage and play Benga music like the king I am," Sifa said.
Why is Atommy asking for more donations?
Despite this gesture, Atommy is still looking for a few band instruments to be able to go back to the stage.
He said he still needs an amplifier and seven speakers; he urged people to support him.
"I need seven speakers: twin bass speakers, four full-range and one mid-range, a monitor, two power amplifiers, one keyboard, an equalizer and crossover," he told TUKO.co.ke.
Babu Owino, Ray Omollo help Atommy Sifa
Earlier, Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo had gifted Atommy a drum set worth KSh 100,000.
Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Paul Ongili, popularly known as Babu Owino, also stretched a helping hand to the self-proclaimed king of Benga.
Babu contacted Atommy after hearing about his situation and paid school fees for his daughter at Moi Girls High School.
