Early life
Si Roberts was born Silas Merritt Robertson on 27 April 1948 (age 75 as of 2023) in Vivian, Louisiana, United States. He is the son of James Robertson (father) and Merritt (née Hale) Robertson (mother).
He is the sixth child in a family of seven children. He has four brothers and two sisters. Si’s brothers are Jimmy Frank, Harold, Tommy, and Phil Robertson, and his two sisters are Judy and Jan Robertson.
Si Robertson attended North Caddo High School, a public high school in Vivian, Louisiana, United States. He was part of the school’s football team and wore the number 10 jersey. Si and Phil Robertson attended the same school, played football, and wore the same jersey number.
After high school, Robertson enrolled at Louisiana Tech University, a public research university in Ruston, Louisiana, United States. Unfortunately, he dropped out of college after three quarters.
