Mwihoko - A family is inconsolable following the death of their son, who was reported missing a day before his demise.
Zayed Mukolwe was reported missing on Sunday, August 6, around noon while playing with his friends.
The three-and-a-half-year-old boy was last seen in his home area in Gachiriro, Discovery Area, Mwihoko, Kiambu county.
Missing in Adidas clothes
Mukolwe was last seen wearing a grey sweater, white pair of shorts with Adidas branding and yellow Crocs.

"He was a bubbly child like any other. He was playing with the other children just around the estate. Most likely, someone must have failed to lock the gate, and he walked outside when no one was watching," Hassan Gaza told TUKO.co.ke.
A woman saw the young man as he entered another neighbourhood but did not follow up as she thought he had a guardian.
Missing child reported to police
The little kids also had no idea when he left their company as they joyfully played in their estate's compound.
"We reported the matter to the police, and we were even going to distribute flyers around Mwihoko to about 50kilometre radius," he said before the heartbreaking news.
The Kiambu family had also talked to some of their friends and relatives as they sought the whereabouts of their little one.
Migori boy, 4, found dead
In other heartbreaking news, a missing four-year-old boy was found dead with his body floating in a borehole.
Kuria West sub-county police commander Cleti Kimaiyo said the police were determined to unravel the mystery surrounding the boy's disappearance.
The boy was reported missing four days ago, on Tuesday, April 25, by his close relatives after leaving home.
A member of the public found his lifeless body floating in the well before alerting the local police, as reported by Citizen TV.
The body was retrieved from the well and taken to Akidiva Hospital mortuary before being picked up by family members.
