According to her, the alleged boyfriend was planning to release a song and needed to create a buzz around his name for it to receive traction.
"Naomba radhi kwa wale wote niliowakwaza. Mimi ni binadamu na naomba msamaha (I am deeply sorry for those I am annoyed. I am human and I'm truly sorry)," the apologetic woman said.
She added that Shine promised to pay her well if she agreed to the request, which is how she gave in and played along.
Meant for each other?
In one of the earlier interviews, Shine showered praises on Yusta, saying he chose her because of her charismatic qualities, like kindness and caring.
The couple also admitted to facing criticism and opposition from their respective families but explained that they were unmoved by societal judgment.
"Love does not choose and does not discriminate. I chose her because she is sweet, kind and caring. City girls would disturb me again," he said.
Yusta also reciprocated the sentiments, adding she loved him for who he was and not necessarily what he had, despite her having much more.
They met at late Yusta's husband's shop
Yusta, who was married with kids before, but her first husband died, noted she had been lonely for three years and needed company.
She revealed that when her husband died, he left a lot of wealth behind, and it was at one of her late husband's shops that she met Shine, who was a regular client.
"I was the one who made the first move. (Nilimteka). He used to come to my shop and I would give him food. I would cook for him and place it somewhere so that he could pick it," she claimed.
