Nairobi - Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma stormed out of KTN News TV interview amidst a heated debate with Gatundu South MP Gabriel Kagombe.
It all started after Kagombe accused Kaluma and his Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party colleagues of 'using' Kenyans in their anti-government protests as human shields.
"You cannot use people as a human shield or as a currency for your political expediency," Kagombe told Kaluma during the TV show moderated by Ken Mijungu.
Immediately, Kaluma requested to leave the debate arguing that at his level, he regards himself as a leader and not a child.

"When this is the person you invite me to talk national issues with, I have no business. By the way Ken, I have kept out of the media for a very long time. Over one year, when you are in leadership, you can't afford to be childish on matters affecting Kenyans. You people are juveniles. Kenya belongs to all Kenyans not just you," Kaluma fired back at Kagombe.
How Peter Kaluma exited the stage
In a now-viral video shared on TikTok by @bosire_stima, Kaluma could be seen untying the lapel from his suit before placing it on the table and leaving the set.
"You can't call me here to engage such juvenile characters. Kenya is bigger than you people," Kaluma said as he walked out of the conversation.

During the live event on radio, Azziad had allegedly requested that they avoid questions she found uncomfortable.

In a gazette notice seen by TUKO.co.ke, Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba revoked the Talanta Hela appointments.
Members of the Creative Technical Committee included Jimmi Gathu, Kate Actress, Azziad, and Wahu Kagwi.
Why Azziad walked out on Mwende
The TikToker walked out of the interview after the uncomfortable question was brought up, and she replied with:
Radio Maisha was live on TikTok, and some screen-recorded the moments that went viral on social media.
Azziad could be seen heading to one of the elevators noting that she was pissed and done with the interviewer.
Mwende, however, noted that as a journalist, she needed to ask the question, and she did not think it was disrespectful.
