Tanzania-based Kenyan entrepreneur Sasha Seraphine Mbote was over the moon after meeting one of her biggest icons; Tanzania President Samia Suluhu.
Having witnessed her become Tanzania's first female deputy minister and also the first female head of state in the East African Community, Sasha adores Samia.
Samia is Sasha's biggest inspiration
She told TUKO.co.ke that Mama Samia is her grandest inspiration because it is so hard for African women to grow because of their responsibilities as mothers and wives.

Sasha, the director of Maridadi Tours and Safaris East Africa, explained that her icon's story is proof that women should believe in themselves.
"It is a pipe dream for many African women to hold high office in the patriarchal world, and Mama Samia has proved to all of us that with determination, it is doable," she said.
Sasha insists that out of the president's story, she learned how to push herself in trying to show the world that women can rule the world by holding boardrooms with dignity.
Women can achieve beyond marriage and children
She jokingly added that she wishes African women can be seen beyond marriage and children as most unmarried ladies are asked uncomfortable questions.
"So many times I fear calling some of my relatives because all they ask is when I will get married and have children," she continued.
In her opinion, the mentality has made many fail to notice how she struggles to unchain fellow women from the programming.
Sasha, who runs a philanthropy project that educates and gives sanitary towels to girls from humble backgrounds, believes the focus should be on helping others chase their dreams.
"No one sees women as successful if they are not married or having children at a certain age," Sasha continued.
Sasha hopes to end period poverty in Africa
The successful businesswoman credits her rise to the first women who believed in her when she worked as a therapist in Kenya and made her see the world beyond a small village in Africa.
Years later, she has helped many girls scale to the level of working in five star hotels, something she considers enough success.
That explains why meeting Samia when she's at the helm of the fast-rising East African country was a life-changing moment.
"My biggest mission now is ending period poverty in Africa because, like Samia, there are many women out there who can change the world," she concluded.
Sasha lucky to be alive
Sasha is lucky to still be able to walk normally and do business now after surviving an accident that nearly cost her life.
In an earlier interview with TUKO.co.ke, she disclosed that a driver bribed KSh 50 for a cop to allow their unroadworthy matatu pass, only to crash a few yards away.
She only knew that the vehicle did not have one headlight when an oncoming motorist rammed head-on into them assuming it was a motorbike.
Sasha added that 17 years later she is yet to be compensated and still suffers excruciating pain in her legs every day.
