Stivo Simple Boy is having his first gig since he parted ways with his management, but Kenyans are unhappy with the low charges.

Stivo Simple Boy hosts first own show

The musician shared a video hyping his event that will be held at the Continental Inn in Mlolongo, and urged fans to turn up in large numbers.

However, Kenyans asked him if he was serious or playing after announcing that the entrance charges is only KSh 200 per person.

"Kesho saa mbili tukutane. Kiingilio ni mia mbili. Usikose kuja tuburudike pamoja, tusherehekee pamoja, tupate burudani pamoja mambo ikuwe bravo, bravo, (Let us meet tomorrow at 8, come let us have fun and celebrate together and things will be bravo bravo)," he said.

Simple Boy recently revealed that he started his own entertainment company and has two producers and event organisers in different parts of the country.

His video elicited mixed reactions as some urged him to increase his damages charges so he can be respected as an artiste.

Simple Boy moves to new house

The struggling musician was in July, excited after moving into a new house that Mumias East MP Peter Salasya offered to pay for.

The singer listed the features he loved in the house and noted that it had an in-house toilet and bathroom and a sitting room.

Stivo's wife also shared that the house was spacious and noted the two are soon planning to expand their family.
