President William Ruto has reiterated he would not tolerate corruption in his government.
Speaking on Tuesday, August 1, during the signing of performance contracts for Cabinet Secretaries and principal secretaries at State House, Nairobi, the head of state said he wouldn't hesitate to take action against any government official suspected of engaging in corruption.
"It will not be business as usual. I made a commitment to the people of Kenya that there would be no money to steal. There is only money to deliver on the programmes, on the projects, on the aspirations," he warned.

William Ruto exposes corrupt roads official
Ruto cited an example of a corrupt official in the Ministry of Roads who was 'untouchable'.
He claimed she was fond of bribing judges to get her away when found engaging in graft.
"There was a lady in the roads department, corrupt to the core but couldn't be transferred because she could go to court, buy judges and get back to work. I hope that corrupt lady no longer works for the government.
She could not be transferred by anybody, even by the minister. If she was transferred, she would go to court. That is where corruption has taken us," he said as he questioned Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen.
