Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has once again rattled the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party after sending President William Ruto a sweet birthday message as he turned 57.
When was William Ruto born?
Ruto, born in Uasin Gishu county on December 21, 1966, rose politically to become the country's topmost leader after winning the 2022 presidential election against rival Raila Odinga of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party.

Passaris, who secured a ticket for the Orange Democratic Movement, a major component of Azimio la Umoja, could not hide her admiration for Ruto, whom she campaigned against in the August 2022 elections.
In the message posted on X, Passaris said that her message to the president represented the voices of many Kenyans who were thankful for his leadership skills and vision for the country.
Esther Passaris' birthday message to William Ruto
"Happy Birthday, President @WilliamsRuto! I bring you not just the warmth of greetings, but the resounding voices of Kenyans united in appreciation for your contributions to our nation's story," read the message by Passaris.
According to the legislator who went against her coalition's position to oppose the contested Finance Bill 2023, which was assented into law by Ruto, Kenyans were no longer lamenting and were instead united and focused on taking the country forward.
"No more lamenting; let's envision the Kenya we dream of and build it, brick by brick, with prayers and hard work. With faith, not fear, and goodness guiding our minds, hearts, and bodies, we can make the impossible possible," continued Passaris in her message.
Earlier, Passaris had argued that the Finance Bill was good for Kenya, defending her decision to vote for it even before some law's provisions were nullified as unconstitutional by the court.
