Why did imaginary husband impress Kenyans?

The Facebook user, going by Doky Dorcas, is an entrepreneur who runs a catering business dubbed Mpenda Ngano Kitchen, and she hinged on her sense of humour to get high engagement.

Dorcas posted numerous images in the Let's Cook Kenyan Meals Facebook group, catching the attention of many.

The images depicted her lovingly serving her imaginary husband breakfast.

One photo depicted her kneeling while pouring tea from a thermos flask into a cup. She then drew a doodle of her imaginary husband holding the cup while seated.

Another image showed Dorcas serving soda to the drawing.

“Me practising how I'll be serving my husband. Just click on the link and follow my page,” she captioned the images.
