Verified Twitter users can now download videos directly from the content creator's account.
Twitter boss Elon Musk announced that the new feature introduces a video download button for users, similar to the image download.
How to download Twitter video
Musk said the feature is only useful for videos that the content creator allows for the download.

"Tap the “…” on the upper right when the video is in full-screen mode. We will soon allow this simply by tapping and holding on a video just like you download a picture," Musk tweeted on Wednesday, August 3.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO acknowledged the struggle users go through in order to download a video from the platform, saying the new feature is a game-changer.
"This is a game changer. No more screen recording," Musk's tweet thread continued.
Twitter users welcome new download feature
Thousands of users, including Kenyans, welcomed the move, which came a week after changing the giant social media logo to X.

Twitter X came after Facebook launched Threads Instagram
Musk said the new logo would transform the Twitter community, a thought that sparked debate among social media users.
Musk changed the logo on Twitter Headquarters in San Francisco, California, United States, to X.
"If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make go live worldwide tomorrow," Musk said.
Twitter rebranding followed rival text platform Threads Instagram, launched by Meta Inc., Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram parent company.
Threads come with features different from Twitter, which allows users to send text messages with up to 500 characters.
According to Viralyft's latest research shows that currently, Instagram Threads has over 150 million downloads, with over 95 million posts and over 190 million likes.
