A Kenyan man has shared his bewilderment on social media after he was given a KSh 382,000 quotation for the roofing of his three-bedroomed house.

The man sought the advice of Kenyans and wondered if the estimated price of roofing his house would amount to KSh 382,000 as stated.

In his post on the Facebook group Dream House and Building Forum, the man asked for help determining whether the quotation was exorbitant or reasonable.

"I'm I dreaming or being lied to? This is KSh 380,000 roofing," he asked.

According to the quotation that he shared, he required items such as a fisher board, timber, nails, iron sheets nails, waste rubber and labour, all amounting to KSh 382,780.
