He said:

The artist's account, previously held by his former management despite their split, has finally been returned to him.

Sharing the clip, Obare wrote:

"Stivo Simple Boy is on cloud 9 after getting his account back from his former management."

Simple Boy to manage music career himself

Previously, the artiste announced that he will be in charge of his music career going forward.

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, the Freshi Barida crooner disclosed that he has suffered enough at the hands of would-be managers.

"An established artiste like me should not be struggling like I am, to the extend that I even go to bed hungry and these days I'm a married man," he said.

Stivo explained that previous engagements with management companies have resulted in more pain than gains for him, which is why he prefers going it alone.

According to him, he has not had any meaningful gig since this year began yet there existed a management company to handle that for him.

Prior to this, Stivo decried the fact that he has been forced to accept low-paying shows to remain afloat.

"Its been long since I had a well-paying show, which is why these days I accept these ones of KSh 20 to 30,000 just to keep the charade going," he continued.
