Tanzania - A heartbroken mother has begged her daughter to return home after going missing for weeks.
Suzan Mushi ran away from her family at 7pm after she was punished for returning home late by her mother.
Class 7 student missing for over two weeks
The mum was crushed after her 13-year-old daughter left and did not return home for 18 days.

"Suzan, wherever you are, I am your mother if you hear this sound. I beg you to return home and sit for your exams. I am hurting very much. For 18 days, I have no idea where you are. You know how much we love you. Your siblings cannot eat. They are always crying. They need you, my daughter. Please come back home," she told GADI TV.
The hopeless mother said she had forgiven her daughter for whatever happened between them and was ready for reconciliation.
Mother admits to mistreating daughter
She confessed she and her husband mistreated their daughter and were asking for forgiveness for causing harm.
"You know how much I need you. You know how much I love you. Suzan, please return home. I am going through tough times. Please return home. Wherever you are, if you hear this voice, come back home for the sake of your life," she pleaded.
Mother, daughter reunite in after 33 years
In another story, another Tanzanian woman abandoned at age three reunited with her mum after 33 years.
Pendo almost gave up on searching for her mother, whom she was told by some of her family members had died.
After more than three decades, she reunited with her biological mum, sharing a teary mother-daughter moment after seeing each other.
Her mother expressed her brokenness after not seeing her for over 30 years, adding she had also lost hope.
