The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has appealed to the members of the public to help in tracing a quartet of suspects in the murder of a teacher and police officer in Siaya.

According to the investigators, the men at large constituted a larger gang terrorising locals in the Mahero area.

The law enforcer and the teacher who was invigilating the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination were killed on November 20 at the Nina area.

Police had been tracking them until they escaped the traps set to apprehend them.

They are suspected to have escaped to neighbouring countries, with the police extending their investigations with the help of INTERPOL.
